Website design and development, built to be found.

Website design and development is the work of making a site people understand and act on, then building the features, integrations, and speed behind it that a template cannot give you.

Every build starts with the pages your customers actually need, gets designed around your brand rather than a template, and launches with search structure and analytics already wired in. You own all of it from day one.

What you actually getand what each part is for.

A site can look finished and still be quietly losing work: a contact form nobody has tested, pages search engines never reach, and no tracking to tell you either way. Those are the leaks worth checking first, and finding them is where a build starts rather than where it ends.

Discovery, sitemap, and UX

We start with your business, your customers, and the pages they actually need. Every page is mapped and the important ones wireframed before a single visual decision gets made, so the build stays on brief and you always know what you are approving.

Brand-led visual design

Typography, color, imagery, and layout drawn from your brand rather than a template's defaults. If you do not have brand assets yet, we set a direction first so the site is not quietly inventing one page by page.

Custom features and components

Purpose-built functionality for the way your business actually runs. Quote forms, booking flows, calculators, gated content, member areas, or whatever the work needs that a stock block cannot do.

Platform, API, and CRM integrations

Your site connected to the tools you already pay for. Forms routed to the right inbox or CRM, calendars, payment and point-of-sale systems, email platforms, and Zapier where a direct connection does not exist.

Speed and search-ready structure

Page hierarchy, headings, metadata, internal links, image sizing, and structured data all set up correctly at launch instead of retrofitted a year later. Structured data is part of that, and our free schema generator shows what it looks like.

Migrations and ongoing maintenance

Moving platforms without losing redirects, analytics history, or search visibility. After launch, updates, monitoring, backups, and small content edits can run on a monthly plan rather than landing back on you.

How big is your projectthree shapes most builds fit.

Scope is the thing that decides everything else, so it is worth settling early. Almost every project lands in one of three shapes. We will tell you which one yours is on the first call, and the written quote follows from that rather than the other way round.

What we will build it onand why the answer is not always the same.

There is no single best platform, only the one that fits how you want to work after launch. We build on all three below, and we would rather improve what you already have than move you for the sake of moving.

Squarespace

Suits you if you want to make small edits yourself without touching code, and the site is mostly content, services, and contact. The trade-off is less room for custom functionality, and its image delivery needs deliberate handling to stay fast.

WordPress

Suits you if you need custom functionality, a real publishing operation, or WooCommerce behind the storefront. The trade-off is that plugins are where most sites break, so it needs maintaining rather than leaving alone.

Wix

Suits you if you are already on it and it is working. We will build and improve there. Worth knowing up front that moving off Wix later is harder than moving off the other two, because there is no clean export.

Or where you already are

If your site mostly works, a rebuild is often the wrong first spend and we will say so. And if what you have today is a social page rather than a site, that comparison is worth reading before you spend anything at all.

If the store is the point rather than the site, that is eCommerce and marketplace work, and it starts from product data rather than from design.

How a build actually goesfive stages, and your half of each one.

The part most quotes leave out is what they need from you. Here is both halves, because a project stalls on missing copy and photos far more often than on anything technical.

01

Kickoff and discovery

What we do

A working session on your business, your customers, and what the site has to achieve. We agree on the goal before anything gets designed or quoted in detail.

What you provide

An hour, and whatever you already know about where inquiries come from today.

02

Sitemap and wireframe

What we do

Every page mapped, and the pages that carry the most weight wireframed, so the journey is settled before any visual work starts.

What you provide

A review, and either a yes or a redirect while changing direction is still cheap.

03

Design

What we do

Brand-led layouts for each page template, built on your colors, type, and imagery rather than a theme's defaults.

What you provide

Brand assets if you have them, photos, and one consolidated round of feedback rather than a trickle of notes.

04

Build and integrate

What we do

The site built responsive across desktop, tablet, and phone, with forms, integrations, and search structure wired in as we go rather than bolted on at the end.

What you provide

Content, or a decision to have us draft it, plus logins for anything that needs connecting.

05

Launch and handoff

What we do

Launch QA across devices, redirects preserved, analytics verified live rather than assumed, then a walkthrough and a written guide in plain language.

What you provide

Domain and DNS access, and an hour for the walkthrough so the handoff actually lands.

One project, in their wordsGreenville Tech Co.

ScatterBranch Digital Marketing removed a huge weight off my shoulders. The process was incredibly seamless, and all of my expectations were exceeded. I no longer have to worry about missed leads due to poor website optimization.
Johnny Honeycutt, Owner of Greenville Tech Co.

Greenville Tech Co. sells computer repair, network setups, Starlink installs, and smart home work around Greenville. Their old site was disorganized and hard to navigate, and it did not look like the business behind it. We rebuilt it from the ground up: a clean layout, a services menu people could actually use, location-focused SEO, a mobile experience that worked, and custom icons drawn for their core services. It is one of several web design projects in Greenville.

You can run it yourself

The handoff guide is written for your platform and your site, not lifted from a generic manual. Update text, swap photos, publish a post, add a page. If you would rather not, that is fine, but it should be your choice rather than a technical limit somebody left in place.

Or we keep it healthy

Website care starts at $299 a month: platform and plugin updates, uptime and speed monitoring, backup and security review, and minor content edits. Larger and busier sites move up from there. There is no long-term lock-in, and you can start it later if you would rather see how you get on first.

The site is not the finish line

A site that converts is what makes everything after it worth doing. Paid campaigns stop burning budget once the pages do their job, and search visibility compounds on a structure that is already sound rather than fighting one that is not. How the four services fit together is set out on the services overview.

What does website design and development include?
Discovery and a sitemap, wireframes for the pages that carry the most weight, brand-led visual design, the build itself across desktop, tablet, and phone, any custom features or integrations your business needs, on-page SEO and structured data at launch, analytics connected and verified, and a plain-language handoff guide. Larger projects add form routing, conversion tracking, and automation planning.
What platform will you build on?
Squarespace, WordPress, or Wix, and often the one you are already on. The choice comes down to how much you want to edit yourself against how much custom functionality you need. The platform section above sets out what each one suits and what it costs you, and we make a recommendation on the first call rather than after you have paid.
How long does a website take?
It depends on scope, but the variable is almost always content rather than build time. Projects that stall stall on copy and photos. Your quote carries an estimated completion date, and that estimate assumes assets and content arrive as we go, so if those take longer the date moves with them.
What do I need to provide?
Brand assets if you have them, photos, your content or a decision to have us draft it, logins for anything that needs connecting, and domain access at launch. The process section lists it stage by stage so none of it arrives as a surprise.
Do I own the site when it is finished?
Yes. The domain, the hosting account, the analytics, and the content all stay in your name on platforms you control. We are the implementation partner, not the owner of your business assets, and that is not something you should have to negotiate for later.
Can you improve the site I have instead of rebuilding it?
Often that is the better spend, and we will say so if it is. A structure, speed, and conversion pass on a site that is fundamentally sound costs less and moves faster than starting over. A rebuild is the right call when the platform, the structure, or the brand has genuinely been outgrown, not just when the site looks dated.
Is Google Business Profile optimization part of this?
No. Google Business Profile work sits under SEO, GEO, and AI search, alongside local search signals, citations, and reviews. It can run alongside a build and is quoted separately, so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
Will the site be set up to be found in search and in AI answers?
Yes, at launch rather than as a later add-on. Headings, metadata, internal links, and clean URLs are part of the build, and so is structured data, which is what lets an answer engine understand your business and name it in a response. We wrote up how that works on Squarespace if you want the detail. Ongoing visibility work after launch is a separate service.
